I was wondering if me and my brother could solo the Smiters in Hard Mode. We are running W/D builds that work easy on NM. Would we get killed by the Aatxes because they run faster and dont lose aggro.

I need an answer so we can grab more ecto's for some money

Ectos drop at same rate NM and HM.

You wont be able to get passed the aatxes. In HM, they'll easily catch up with you, and will hit you for 250+.

Run 600/smite if you want to duo it in HM. It's faster in HM because of faster attack speeds, and you can kill aatxes and a lot more stuff.

You could "try" doing it in HM by using YMLAD! and Iron Mist on both warriors to keep Aatxes away. Open with IM and use YMLAD! when running.
